What happens to what you send
This page answers four questions, decided before the form existed rather than after it filled up.
Who owns what you send
You do. Sending it gives permission to use it for running this site β to check a camera, correct a page, or reply to you β and nothing else. Nothing is published under your name unless you ask for it to be.
What is kept, and for how long
The form asks nothing about you. There is one optional field, an email address, and it exists only so that you can be answered. Leave it empty and nothing identifying you is kept at all.
What you send is filed in a private issue tracker hosted by GitHub, in the United States. Anything carrying an address is deleted within twelve months of the request being closed. What remains β a stream link, a correction β is kept as the record of why this site changed.
A spam check runs on the form. It is Cloudflare's, and it sees your IP address in order to work. This site is not sent it and does not keep it.
Suggestions that are not used
Most camera suggestions are not added, usually because the stream cannot be embedded or points somewhere private. They are closed and deleted on the same schedule as everything else. There is no obligation to explain a decision, and nothing you send is published because it was turned down.
If you are under sixteen
Please do not put an email address in the form. Everything else you might send is about a camera rather than about you, and that is fine at any age.
Changing your mind
Write to [email protected] and what you sent is deleted. No reason is needed and nothing is asked in return.
